Brenda Treasure set up the business in 1994 after working for large accountancy firms for longer than she cares to remember. She has been an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation since 1985. 
John Valentine, by then her husband, joined the firm in 1996. He left his position as a senior partner in a large firm and decided to make a lifestyle change. He started life as a Fully Trained Inspector of Taxes and was accepted into the Chartered Institute of Taxation as a Fellow in 1992. Now
We now offer a full service to individuals and businesses managed by their owners. As well as filing the personal Tax Returns for clients we also prepare accounts and advise on tax efficient ways of doing business.
More and more we are being called in to deal with investigations, whether of the accounts of the business, an individual's Tax Return or a PAYE visit by the Revenue.
And the dogs? Well, they join us in the office most days and are valuable and trusted members of the team. The large Doberman dog in the picture on the left is Bosley, who unfortunately died of a tumour in 2007, to be replaced by a Doberman puppy called Boogie. She is shown in the picture on the right. The smaller dog in both pictures is Basil, our Manchester Terrier. The dog in the middle is Callie, a relative of Boogie.

We also support local charities. Most recently we took part in a sponsored "Sleep Out" at the Madejski Stadium in Reading in support of the Reading Single Homeless Project.
